To get the threadID of the TDBThread, just use the 'threadID' property of
TThread - you do not have to call getcurrentthreadid, and *especially not in
the constructor for the thread* - the constructor runs in the context of the
constructing thread, not the thread under construction.
Unfortunately, when I tried your code I got 'unsupported on-disk structure'
when trying to connect to the 'employee.gdb' database. I guess my Interbase
is too old (V5.5).
