memory leaks in bde 4.0 (delphi 3)???

memory leaks in bde 4.0 (delphi 3)???

i wrote a 1000-times for-loop to test the TQuery, a very simple action,
just close, open...close...open....

but it costs 1-2k every time when it open, close..... what's the
problem....!!!!!

I'm just hoping that Borland will see this.. and the ever increasing
posts about the memory leak.

For those of you who care, it deals with the BDE and SQL issues and can
bring down a system real quick.

We've called Borland directly.. got to somebody that can do something..
and this person admitted there is a bug and it will be fixed. The
problem with this is that all of us who are stuck, we have to wait for
the next release of C++ Builder, which is probably in Q1 of 98.
