Problems Installing an ODBC-Alias with Install-Shield Express

Hi together,

I am writing a little program that uses an ODBC-driver to an AS/400 (or a
MS-ACCESS) or something else.

I know that I can create an Alias with InstallShield-Express. But only for
Access, Paradox an DBase NOT for ODBC-Drivers......

What is my mistake...what can I do....

I would be happy for any kind of information

thanks Stephan

Stephan,

If you're using a Standard (not Professional or Client/Server) version
of Delphi, you're out of luck. The ODBC support is provided at the
Pro level and above (see http://www.inprise.com/delphi/del4sku.html).
