Database Desktop V7.0 - can't restructure table

Can anybody tell me why I get an error - "Higher level table
required" when I attempt to save a table after restructuring.
The table was created as Paradox 7 but the restructure dialog
box title reads "Restructuring Paradox 5.0 table".

The restructuring is minor - just an additional alpha field.
