I want to play an mp3 file through the soundblaster speakers, and i also
want the mp3 file to play in the background so i can still do other stuff in
the program. Understand??

the description of the MP3-Header. I think that's a beginning for your
program. If you want to, I could also send you a unit that is able to read
the header.
