Oracle 8.0.4 client and Windows 98

Dear folks,

Has anyone succesfully installed Oracle 8.0.4 client on a Windows 98 machine?
Is Oracle 8.0.5 out yet?
Any suggestions on how to install the Oracle Client Software on 25 Win95 client machines (appart from running 25 times
the Oracle Client Installation procedure).

we loaded oracle 8.0.5 on a few 98 machines and all seemed ok....
in regards to loading, we just clone the disks or do net insatalls

You can download a patch from Oracle offical site.
ftp://support.oracle.com/pub/patches/patchsets/912/80403/

or, install IPX/SPX or aother protocol and use it. Only TCP/IP be update on
Windows 98, so SQL*NET cannot work.
