VB might be a bit slower, a bit less powerfull, and less sophisticated.

Why do you think it makes it lesser on the overall ?!

I program Delphi, and I am well. But I know VB too, and it have many
advantages.
I looking after it progress, gets myself a copy since ver. 4 to examine,
ready and willing - if and when needed, to move out...

-- Comptability.
-- Support. (Technical Refrence)
-- Ease
-- Great similarity to VBA that Office , Visio, Autodesk adopted and more
are just coming.
-- It's done most of what needed.
-- Support by a "Big Brother" who keeps it in buissness. Brother M.

So why are you all , so *Against* VB. Forget ideology! Be Realistic!

ahhhh ?

(look at this for example :)

Re:VB6 vs. Delphi5

Hello there,

Delphi application install can be easy,
if you don't use BDE etc. stuff.
VB does not have enough power to do
things we need: too much coding,
less access to components - we practically
do not use IDE.
