online purchases

Hi,
I don't know if this has been discussed before,
but did Borland ever indicate that they will
support online purchase w/ immediate download
with shipping?
What I mean is, I buy online and download the
full product. Then they ship whatever documentation
is while I play around with the product?
That way I immediately have the product to start
the project.
Or the shipping can be added for an extra $$.
Just a query.

I don't know but I think it is limiting in the sense that not everyone
has broadband and at the same time it will consume a lot of bandwidth
since it will easily be over 500MB of download.

Re:online purchases

Frankly I feel any customer in the World shoud be able to buy any Borland
product from any part of the world.Presently this can't be done
Probably then the reginal offices will become defunct
Whether we like it or not postal charges are heavy & all documentation
should be bundled
