Hello group.
Any suggestions on a lightweight Delphi source code editor that supports
compiling projects with dcc32.exe.
Using D7.
Thanks!

Hi, haven't tried compiling delphicode my self, but you could try
Editpad (Pro) which is a very powerful editor. It has support for
external compilers, and any syntax coloring you'ld prefer, plus code
folding etc. And powerful Regex, all in one:

I would suggest PSPad. I use it as code editor for all things non
Delphi. It has this kind of compiler integration but I have not used it
myself.
I agree that PSPad is worth a look. Its free, solid, with plenty of little
conveniences. It can diff files, hex edit, edit html and preview html. It
has "projects" where a group of files belong together. Can do Unicode. Its
my standard editor now, outside the Delphi IDE.

Well I am not a fan of free stuff so here are two low cost options:
www.ultraedit.com/
www.editpadpro.com/
I have found both companies great to work with.

If you like PSPad and find it useful you can actually pay for it. Lots
of people did, also me. You send your donation here:
