Copy and Paste doesn't work in Forms Designer

OK, real productivity improvement here (not!).
When running in Classic Undocked layout (D2005 Pro; VCL Forms Application)
the Copy and Paste command set are not available in the Forms Designer. To
copy and paste any components you have to switch back to the Default Layout
and there become available. Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V use to be so much quicker!
Anyway, 9876 raised in QC. Hope they fix this one soon as it makes using
the Undocked layout very difficult.

Hmm ... I have never run in Classic Undocked mode, yet Copy & Paste have

never worked for me, either. Perhaps it is something else that makes it
available?

Based on a comment from a Borlander in another thread, I suspect there's

possibly a single fault behind this and other form designer bugs in
D2005. The good news is, chances are the fix is simple and will sweep
out a whole cartload of bugs. that is just a hunch, nothing more.

I'll check my socking on Christmas morning and hope to find a patch there
from Santa Borland.
Delphi 2005 looks nice and has a very nice IDE, but the level of small
"bugs" makes it very annoying to use and therefore forces us to remain with
Delphi 7 for real work :-(
