Delphi 7 (7.1 patch)

I am trying to install the Delphi 7 Update 1 on my Vista Home Premium.
I have the Delphi 7.1 patch (d7_arch_upd1_1.exe) but when I run it, it asks
for the Delphi 7 CD.
I insert the CD and proceed only to get:
The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk
that is not available.
Insert the 'Borland Delphi 7' disk and click OK.
I do and get the same message again. I click on Browse... to get to Install
directory (where the Borland Delphi 7.msi file is located).
I then get "accessing the feature" for a few seconds and again get:
The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk
that is not available.
Insert the 'Borland Delphi 7' disk and click OK.
All help appreciated.

I have applied the Update without any CD on my test PC.
Note: The D7.1 update breaks the dcc32 compiler optimization! Forgot the
QC number.
