I have Delphi 2007 installed (or rather had) until this morning's Rad Studio
auto-upgrade seized it up.
It (a) took ages and asked for me to dig out the serial number all over
again.
Its downloade tonnes of stuff for a minor upgrade and seems to stick at
55,166,088 bytes received 82% complete.
My internet connection is working fine (I have waited 30 mins now and can
use the web browser in other windows).
Tried this twice now. Same happened last time.
Any ideas please CodeGear ???

A piece of further information which may be relevant.
This install is into VISTA - with its dreaded security issues !!!
I was logged in with administrator rights - but anything installed into the
program files tree gets restricted (ie data files cannot be changed)
I had to reinstall Nexus someplace else because the program files folder is
set so that nobody can save anything to it.
Could this be part of CodeGear's problem???

I've now re-installed Delphi 2007 from the DVD and that got me back where I was
before (and says I am also already registered again). I will run any update
rather cautiously though !!!

Good news.
After two more attempts it finally worked.
Even with 8mb broadband there are clearly line problems that occasionally
lock up the download part way through. (I had a problem after only 8% of
the download on my 1st go).
After retrying, and a lot of patience, the whole 250mb came down the line -
and installed OK.
