Can anyone recommend some books on Delphi Client Server programming
perferable with SqlServer, or failing that any good books on client server
programming in general.

For SQL Server 2000 I heartly recommend SQL Server 2000 Developer's Guide (OSBORNE)
The app samples are VB, but since everything is easier in Delphi, this shouldn't matter :).

AFAIK there's no Delphi Client Server book, but both Mastering D5/ Mastering D6 (SYBEX) and
D5 Developers Guide/D6 Devlopers Guide (SAMS) has a few chapters on it. There's a book on ADO
programming with Delphi: Advanced Delphi Developer's Guide to ADO.

Go to Amazon.com and serch for Delphi to get the lot.
