OT: What is the value of a cancellation?

If one would add up all the time, computer power, electricity, thoughts, and
everything else that has influenced people the last couple of days regarding
the cancellation discussion(s), what would be the gross value of a couple of
cancellations be? And was that all worth it?
Just wondering ... Somehow, I think all this energy and money could have
been better spent.
Can we now please stop this nonsense and get back to our lives?

Yeah. I was going to solve the global warming crisis but I couldn't

pull myself away from the cancellation thread. Oh well, the world's
loss. :-)
