Junior Developer to participate in the development of state of the art
application integration software, which supports integration between
Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software packages, homegrown systems and
Xerox legacy systems. Essential functions: - Develop and implement
components. Development is centered around distributed middleware (CORBA,
CORBA services, OLE-COM-DCOM), so background-interest in emerging standard
object technology is a plus. Qualifications: Energetic individual, a team
player with excellent communication skills and working knowledge of: Unix,
C++, Java, CORBA-ORBs, OOA-OOD, Solaris, Windows, RogueWave DB tools.h++.
Interest or background in principles of distributed systems.

The position's primary responsibility is to test development applications
that are written in C, C++ with Visual Basic, Java script environment,
Oracle processing applications. Specifically, the position requires 2-4
years application testing experience in UNIX, Mainframe, PC, client-server
or distributed workstation environment. Experience with developing test
scripts, and test cases; experience with executing tests, and
recording-tracking defects; measurements and metric tracking. Knowledge of
UNIX, mainframe, MS Windows and PC platforms, Windows 95 and-or Windows NT
4.0. Experience in automated testing tools, (Rational TeamTest with
capture-playback, coverage analyzers, etc.) GUI application experience;
networking-modem connectivity skills; excellent verbal and written skills.
Flexibility in multi-tasking environment; experience in writing shell
scripts. Knowledge of Middleware, Perl, databases and database conversion.

Performs systems analysis-designs user interfaces, data organization and
conceptual design. Specifies logic detail, system test plans, access
methods, distribution implementation, prepares documentation, procedures and
presentations, performs assignments in the areas of program development and
modification. Has understanding of object oriented design and analysis
methodology. Is experienced with relational database and familiar with
multidimensional database structure and design. Familiar with solutions
delivery incorporating client-server and distributed computing paradigms.
Experienced with multiple network protocols. Skills:Microsoft Project,
Visual Basic, C++, Smalltalk, Rational Rose, UI expertise, Booch and-or
Martin -Odell methodology.
Software Engineer with twelve months or more Documentum experience. Person
will not be writing code.
