BP 7.0 TOO MANY OPEN FILES

I have a BP 7.0 DOS program which opens, reads, and closes text files
specified from a list.  Under Windows 95 it only gets through around 10
files.  It appears that the file handles are not being released by the
Close procedure.  Is this a problem with Windows/DOS or with Borland
Pascal?

Hi,

The problem is not with Windows/DOS, it's probably you ;)
You might have forgotten to close a file somewhere, wich causes the
error..
Make sure you check your code, and follow it with the de{*word*81}...you
should be
 able to trace it...

I had the same problem. Adding "files=100" to the config.sys file and
restarting the PC did the job. Just try and see if it helps.
