Make sure you have the very latest S3 Virge drivers. S3 Virge cards have
a long history of buggy drivers. They have a problem handling the image
lists used by Delphi. Also try to set the acceleration to 0 (under
Display Properties->Settings->Advanced).
If the system is new enough take the video card back for something based
on a different chipset... I use a Diamond G460, with the Intel i740
chipset, without a hitch. I also use both a STB Velocity 128 and Intense
3D Voodoo, Delphi works fine on all my systems... With the cost of video
cards so low these days I'd just upgrade to the next best thing... (I
know my G460 only cost $80 with 8MB... Although I can't get it to
display 16.7 million colors correctly at 1280x1024... No biggie...)
