Help - Invalid Field Type - New Field Types?

Hello there
I have work on SQL6.5 and just installed SQL7.0
I have created a BDE alias to the SQL7.0 demo database.
When I try to explore to tables I get this error message
"Invalid Field type".
I looked on SQL7.0 and there are new field types such
as "nvarchar" & "ntext".
How does D5 coupe with this?
More important How do I fix this?

Did you upgrade your BDE to the latest (5.10)?
