Thank you all for taking time to help.
Odd Høvik's suggestion solved it for me.
which was:
"Right click on any columnheader, select 'Choose the columns for the
message tree', click the 'Subject' - line, and make sure that this is the
main column. Make sure that the 'Main column - (shows levels in threads)-
box are checked!'
I'd like to thank him once again. Now I can begin to use MesNews.
