Screen Shots for Documentation

Is there a Delphi tool or third-party product available that will capture a
displayed form and copy it into a file that I can then import into my Word
documentation ?

Thank You,
Chuck Tate

Maybe you don't need a tool to do this...

Just press Alt+PrintScrn (this will capture the active window)
then paste directly into the document.

There's TScreenCapture, from http://www.ec-software.com, but I think
you need register.

There's also a freeware component I've used, which makes bitmaps of
the forms, and also of every control in it. Unfortunately, I cannot
find where I have it! My guess is I downloaded it somewhere in Torry's
site.

Hi Chuck,

A number of other programs have already been mentioned. I've used
ScreenPrint Platinum from www.softwarelabs for quite awhile now and think
that it will do everything you want and more. They have a free unencumbered
download demo (ScreenPrint Gold) that will take care of your needs and then
there is their ScreenPrint Platinum product available for only $34.95 (quite
a bargain).

  TForm.GetFormImage()
________

Delphi 5.01 Pro, Win2K Sp2

This creates a bmp file. I use SGrab, which creates a gif file, which is
far smaller.

I have now seen it's called FORM2BMPSAVER. What I have is just the
.dcu for Delphi4. Don't know if source code, or .dcu for other
versions of Delphi have been made available already.
