Online Game Development Project (GDT) [Pascal/Asm]

hi,

just a quick notice about an online game development project thats
running.. the aim is to get together a group of people to produce a
multiplayer network game (IPX and/or TPC/IP) using Pascal & Assembler.

anyone is welcome to get involved in the project, no matter how much
experience they've had (one point of the project is to help people
who've had little or no previous game programming experience to learn
how its done).

the source is available for download from the web site and is annotated
so you can see how things work... past source uploads are kept available
so you can see the development from the original versions.

so far the game mapping and sprite grabbing is working, the next stage
being to incorporate sprites to produce a working game engine to
optimise (much of the basic graphics functions have already been
optimised)..

so.. if you fancy turning you're hand to a bit of game programming, go
to the following url (the group homepage)...

http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/poohsticks/index.htm

..at the moment there are 7 people involved in the programming... we're
also looking for artists, musicians & sound effects people for the
game..!

thanks and hope you like the sound of it :o)
