Metafile doesn't is showed without Delphi installed on the same computer

I have a problem  with a dbimage component, because if the application runs
on one computer with Delphi installed it works perfect when a Metafile is
showed, but if Delphi is not installed a fatal error is caused and the
application just is closed. No exception message is showed, Do you know if
there is some special dll or another thing that must be deployed with my
application? Any help willbe appreciated.

Antonio,

Does it open other kind of images say bmp?  Or does it crash only when
trying to open metafiles?

I also saw a few computers (especially WinNT 4) where metafiles are not
worked at all (in any application).
I solved this problem so - when you'll install MS Office, you may check
"Metafile support/conversion filter".

After that problem will be fixed. Seems that some system dll is not exist in
some Windows editions.

know if

"A fatal error is caused" isn't enough. What is the fatal error? If no
message is shown, how do you know there was a fatal error?
