Blah. I have almost given up bothering about OTAPI enhancements. You can
only get shot down so often before you find someone elses IDE to
integrate into.
I can not tell you how depressing it is to read that, from you of all
people. But then, I guess I can not expect you to hold out quite as long as
Ray Lischner.
It does speak volumes about how low a priority OTAPI continues to receive
from Borland, though.

You would have to buy two or more Turbo Pro editions to get more than one
personality into the "TDS". And then you meight already thought about
buying the BDS Pro.
First, this technique could be applied to the /free/ Explorer editions.
So this argument is mute.
Secondly, someone may purchase a Turbo Pro *today* (say, Turbo Delphi
Pro). Then, three months from now, decided they want to port their app to
.NET and Turbo Delphi .NET Pro would be the way to go. So they want to
purchase Turbo Delphi .NET Pro and use it on the same machine as Turbo
Delphi Pro.
Yes, had they realized they would eventually want both personalities, they
would have bought BDS Pro to begin with. But they didn't, and now they're
stuck.
They're stuck because they decided to "taste" what the Turbo products
could accomplish and liked it so much that they were willing to pay for
more.

I was in the middle of researching how to delete the info for the first
install from the msi database.
You can use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to do just that:

Yes, but I think he started a wee bit before Jeremy. Or at least before
Jeremy started being quite so vocal on the newsgroups. ;-)
At least we got a book out of Ray before he left!

Actually if you know the email address I had while living in the US you
will see that I actually asked some pretty dumb questions back in 96/97.
I had a couple of years away late 90's early 2000's.

That doesn't present a barrier to many people that write books.
