Okay, who _owns_ the software?  You?  Your friend?  Some other
individual?  Whoever it is, there's your answer: the _owner_ can call
Borland and request help, since the _legal_owner_ has those rights.  If,
otoh, you're not the legal owner of the package - and you're therefore
using the software illegally - you're s.o.l.  No one here will send you
the software, and if you're not the registered, legal owner, well, you
have a problem...

I now legally own the software. I already called Borland. They want $30
to replace the files. Would you pay that for six easily obtained small
files for a package you don't even plan to install, let alone use, on your
primary system? (I've already purchased an introductory edition of Delphi
for my main system.)

<<you're s.o.l.  No one here will send you the software...>>

Two people less tightly clenched then yourself have already responded. I
thank them. These are, after all, six files that would be completely
worthless to someone without the package..so relax...

Ignoring his legal babble . . .
For strings.tpu and windos.tpu, you should have the source for those
units.  (TP7 does, at least.)  Try looking for the files strings.pas and
windos.pas.  As for the other files, I cannot help you.
