TP7:no mousecursor using "SVGA256.BGI"

Hi,
I'm using "SVA256.BGI" with InstallUserDriver under TP7 and never had
any problems with my mouse. But I found no other Computer on which I
can see a mousecursor. I have a LogiTech mouse-driver and a Spea V7
graphiccard ( Is this something special? ).
If you can hepl me, do it please.

I beleive that the mouse driver must load some "SVGA support"
for this to work.  Your system must have it set up appropriately
and the other computers don't.

I also use the Logitech mouse drivers and the SVGA support code
is in the LVESA.OVL file.  This file is loaded automagically when
my mouse driver loads (and it says so when loading).

Did YOU set your mouse cursor in your program? If so, well i don't

Re:TP7:no mousecursor using "SVGA256.BGI"

The problem may be with mouse driver.

Older versions of mouse drivers don't support SVGA modes.
Even my Logitech Mouse driver loads a separate overlay for SVGA support, and I
disabled it by default.

i wrote a mouse driver especially for use with the SVGA256.BGI interface
  file..

  it is located on:

   ftp://x2ftp.oulu.fi/pub/msdos/programming/hardware/azzam.zip

for those interested in the .BGI file.. it is included. i also wrote this
little {*word*81} a while back (early 94?) and there are a few bugs (not
code - but small BGI specific bugs)..

such as.. no page flipping etc.. but the program works fine on my dx2-66
with a cirrus logic 5428 and honeywell mouse..

hope that helps.  FULL source is included.. just dont be lame and say you
  wrote it?

still interested??? email at : ardir...@cs.curtin.edu.au for any pascal /
  game programming discussion ;)

regards, aaron.

Please - before you post anything - consider one one the following.

I'd like them,  This is what you do to put them all in one (as simple as
I can make it).  Zip them to
one file.  Then Crush them to a smaller file, and last uuencode them.
Now you mail the file.

Hi,
In notice to some more or less friendly and useful comments about
posting articles to discussing-goups i sent the file to
alt.binaries.misc as "SVGA-BGIs for TP7".
