Paradox Database on CD-ROM with Memo Fields

If you have memo fileds in the table, they write out their own seperate
temp files. The error you get is :

"Invalid Parameter.
Unknown internal operating system error.
File d:\_qsq2.mb
Table d:\_qsq2.mb
File or directory does not exist.
File d:\_qsq2.db"

Does any body have any idea how to get around this, or set the temporary
directory to another directory other than the CD?

Thanks

Re:Paradox Database on CD-ROM with Memo Fields

I've used pdox tables with memo fields on a cd rom but did not encounter a
problem like you've described... Try setting the netdir property of paradox
tables to a local drive from the BDE administrator...

hope this helps

These should go to the directory you have the session.PrivateDir
property set to.
If you don't set this property it will be where the "Start in
directory" of the .exe file is located.
