Masked DBedit

How can i mask a Tdbedit.
I want to be able to insert date only.

Hi Dirk:

Try: Table1.FieldByName('Date').EditMask:='!00\-00\-00;1;_';

It should work fine.

Look up "editmask" property in the help file.

You need to set up the mask on the data field, not on the component.
Bring up the field list for the table and you will be able to add the
mask information there. The DBEdit component will conform to the data
configuration.
