Hi friends.
    I am using the DELPHI 6 SP2, BDE 5.1, Oracle Client 9.2 in my machine
with Windows XP Professional and Oracle Server 8i in a Linux machine. Using
the Oracle Client I obtain to connect to the service name that was created.
When I create a alias it in the BDE I am not obtaining to connect, giving
the following error: General SQL erro. ORA-03114: NOT CONNECT TO ORACLE.
Alias: CODIN. BDE ERROR: 13059.
    Already using machines with Windows 98 all functions perfectly.
    In the BDE I configured driver native Oracle to use OCI.DLL and
SQLORA8.DLL.
    Please, they help me I discovered which to it the problem. Grateful
