I see that in order to drop a combobox onto a coolbar band, you have
to NOT have the band created before hand because as soon as you drop
it on the coolbar, it creates it's own band!!

However, I find that I can't size the combobox at all - it fills
almost the entire width of the coolbar - does anyone know how to gain
size control over the combobox?

Insert a TPanel in the Coolbar and the Combobox inside the Panel.

That works for me!
