TUTIL32.DLL + BDE5.10 problem

Any one had password protected tables (v7) trashed when rebuilding using the
TUTIL32.DLL for BDE5.01 with BDE5.10 - I have a reproducable problem on a
users.db table which is password protected. My clients use a verification
application regularly and occasionally have to rebuild after network
failures. The app offers a 'force rebuild' option (which they really
shouldn't use if the verfication passes). If they use it on any PW protected
table it trashes a whole load of fields!

Thanks in advance for anwers....

Dead right.

Don't know the solution.

Which application does the rebuilding?

Have you tried Pdxrbld.exe?

Okay - one of my apps based on source code from delphi pages...not that I'm
blaming anyone else!
My app has worked fine when rebuilt to use different versions of
TUtil32.dll - only now with 5.10 does it
go bonkers.  Still I am grateful for your re-direction and I'm on my way....

Thanks for replying..
