Wow! Srroy aobut taht!! ;)

Yes, the interesting thing is that I read it a full speed instantly and my
wife had to get used to it and got faster as she read it. I am dyslexic,
she isn't.
I think it is because most people read as a mixture of whole word
recognition and word decoding; whereas dyslexic people tend to rely more on
whole word recognition.

"Bad spelling can be lethal. For example, the greedy Seriph
of Al-Yabi was cursed by a badly-educated deity and for
some days everything he touched turned to Glod, which
happened to be the name of a small dwarf from a mountain
community hundreds of miles away who found himself
magically dragged to the kingdom and relentlessly
duplicated.
Some two thousand Glods later the spell wore
off. These days, the people of Al-Yabi are renowned for
being remarkably short and bad-tempered."

I wonder what this looks like to people with dyslexia...
Pretty much as readable as anything else :P
I had a BF once who did me a new alphabet.. general principal was
replace curves with straight lines and visa versa...
I could read and write this as well as I could normal..
I almost had a detention once as we were dictated some notes, and I
wrote it in this alphabet as either was fine by me.... Teacher didnt
believe 1 word that Id be able to read it.. till I stood there and read
it back... she was distinctly unhappy...

Not in my case. I am not a native reader and yet I can read it at full

But I would say this is off-topic, so let's move this there.

LOL! Create some huge word (I have no idea what it says) and then feel
the need to "hyphenate" the last 4 letters. ROTFLOL! Can someone explain
this to me?

Re: Typoglycemia

How about this word:
pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
lets see, first letter must be 'p' and last letter must be 's'....

My favourite long word is hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia.
There's something about the irony of it is definition that really amuses
me.
