I know most of those topics are from 2003 but I am sure some people
still have the problem involving code completion taking way too long.
Simply open your Delphi 7 project. Go to Tools->Environmental Options,
go to Prefences tab, and select 'Desktop And symbols' under 'desktop
contents'. Build-all your project, close it, and re-open it. On our
projects, it reduced code completion drop-down lag from about 15
seconds to about .8 seconds.
