Deleting records in a Paradox table and packing

Hi,

I noticed that when you delete a record from a Paradox table, it doesn't
get any smaller unless you 'pack' the table with Database Desktop. Does
anybody know how to obtain the same effect when using Delphi?

Paradox or dBase? -- Paradox tables are a pain to pack (in my opinion).
Fortunately, there are lots of components that'll do it for you... If
youwant, I'll send you my component that'll pack and then close the table
for you...
