Hi,

I'm looking for DBASE III component which can Create and manipulate DBF
files.

You can find some on the delphi super page

I have tried those, but they are limited:
a) string fieldtype only,
b) no memos
c) no indexes.

Both Tories and Delphi super page have several dBASE III components.

eg:

xbase.zip:

from the readme:
"What is xBase
The xBase unit contains a component which gives access to dBase III+ files
without using the BDE. What is different about this component is that it
seamlessly handles Memo fields unlike the other few I've come across."

Maybe you need to do a little searching?
