Lingscape today announces a new product for easy translation of button
captions in message dialogs, such as MessageDlg, ShowMessage and
InputQuery. The product will not only localize the captions, it is
even possible to switch between languages at run-time to have multi
language buttons. Button Translator includes translations for 25
languages for the most common button captions from the standard VCL
library. This product targets all developers involved in international
projects, but also for domestic projects where the VCL library is
localized in another language. Lingscape have had a market leading
position in globalization development for Inprise products ever since
Delphi first release in 1995.
RAD COMPONENT BASED PRODUCT
Button Translator is a package that enables you to instantly localize
buttons from the standard VCL library with just a mouse click. The
Button Translator component can be dropped on any form to have all
your standard button messages translated in the whole application. You
do not need to write any single code, and you do not need to
re-compile any library file. It is also possible to switch between any
language at run-time too in a very easy way to produce professionals
multi language applications.
TRANSLATIONS IN 25 LANGUAGES
The product includes translations in 25 languages of the most used
button captions from the VCL library, such as "OK", "Cancel", "Help"
etc. Each language can be switched at run-time to produce a multi
language application, or compiled as a localized application.
Translations is included for European, Middle Eastern and Far Eastern
languages:
Arabic, Catalan, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish,
French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean,
Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish,
Taiwanese and Turkish.
FAST AND FLEXIBLE
It is only necessary to drop one Button Translator component on one
form in the project to instantly have the standard button captions
localized in any language. It cannot be easier, you do not need to
change any source code, nor any resource units. It will even translate
button captions from all third party components used in your
application. It does not matter what language the VCL library or third
party VCL is compiled with they can all be translated. In contrast
with localizing the resource units in the standard VCL library, the
Button Translator will localize button captions for you in just a
second and also give you a multi language feature on these captions.
STYLE AND LAYOUT
The message dialog can also have a user defined caption of the form
and the buttons can be displayed with a specified font, this can
greatly help you design a true multi language application.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
Lingscape Button Translator 2.0 is now available for download from our
Web site. The product comes with complete source code. There are no
royalty fees on your applications built with Button Translator. The
Button Translator package is part of the Multi Language Designer
package. Applicable VAT is not included.
