Mem >= 64MB bug vs RTE200 bug

When a TP or BP doesNt work because of a runtime error, it may be not
just
because of a too fast CPU, but because your PC has too much RAM >= 64MB,

methinks. In that case u should use the following DOS options:
   NOEMS NOVCPI

why does a program keep crashing if the cpu power or ram storage is too
high? could this not be fixed by having open a huge graphics program while
compiling, gobbling the ram?
