:Just a footnote.  SWAG9711.ZIP contains a new file:  LASTSWAG.TXT.
:Apparently, they've decided to cease the current distribution and move to a
:web-based library emphasizing on Delphi.  I don't know about everyone else
:here, but I'm a bit disappointed to hear this.

Gayle's documentation indeed states as a direct quote: "As I said,
this will be the LAST release of SWAG in the format that has been
used up to now. In the future, I will be announcing a NEW SWAG
(mostly DELPHI) that will be completely WEB based,..."

This is not overly surprising considering the fact how long vanilla
Turbo Pascal has been around. I would guess that much what can be
covered already has been covered during the many year of the swag
collection's existence.

When SWAG started including Delphi related material some time agao,
in fact I suggested to the gentle SWAG authors that they would do
well to make the Delphi material separate for the same reasons for
which we also have the separate newsgroups for Delphi and vanilla
Turbo/Borland Pascal.

Since this discussion is rather specialized, I have reset the
followups to news:comp.lang.pascal.misc

   All the best, Timo
