D5 Std missing Paradox, Table, Query support???

I don't believe it.

TTable, TQuery, TDBGrid, ... are not included with Delphi 5 Standard.

Now I have to buy the Pro version, to use local DB's and SQL?

Say it isn't so.

I have D3 and D4.
Is there a way to get the DB Components from them?

Please Help!

I would not of purchased D5, if I had known that they eliminated
loacl DB support.  If it's true, how can I return D5?

The Std sku is considered a basic learning product and the DB stuff was removed
from it as of D5.  If you live in the US or Canada you can exercise your 90 day
money back.  Outside of that area contact your local Borland office.

Your are correct that the Standard version no longer includes database
support. I assume you would need to call Borland customer service to find
out about returning the product.

How do I return D5, if I purchased it from egghead.com?

Can I return it back to Borland, or get authorization from them?

You should try to return it to Egghead first.  If for some reason they will not
accept the return try Borland customer support.  That number should be part of
the stuff you got in the box.  They are going to require an original reciept
IIRC.
