DELPHI ERRORS - TTable Filter, CachedUpdate and RecordCount.

Unable to return RecordCount with a Table Filter set and Cached Updates = true. Gives the correct value when CachedUpdates = false at design time but tried setting Cached updates = false just before the call to RecordCount (in OnColumnExit event of DBGrid) but still does not return No of filtered records . Keeps returning all records in the Table.

Any comments appreciated
