Quick Report 2.0:printing single record

Hi,

How do you print a single record in Delphi 3.0 and QR 2? With QR 1.0,
you just had to remove the DataSource, but if you remove the DataSet in
QR 2 - it won't print anything.

Thanks
Chris

Since you probably have to look up that simple record anyway you might as
well use a query that shows only one result. This way there is only one
record to print.

I would suggest you make use of an SQL component. This will allow you to
query the table for the specific record/s you need and to print only the
records in the result set that gets returned to you.

Hi Christine

You can print a report without connecting to a database with
QuickReport.
You put a quick report component on a form and only a header page band
on this Quick report.
You can use QRLabel and QRBDLabel  as you want  for only one record.
