Keeping track of High Scores?

I would like to add a high score board to my game application I am
writing in delphi 2.0.  Below is an example of the info I need to store.

Rank            Name            Time
________________________________________
 1              Shane Holmes    02.36.17
 2              Doe, Jane       00.15.59
 .              .               .
 .              .               .
 .              .               .
10              Doe, John       99.99.99

Has anyone implemented this type of thing - and would be willing to
throw some hints my way.

I am seeking info on:
1.) the best storage method (is it an Ini file ?)
        2.) ranking ?
        3.) editing

Any help would be appreciated!

I would think that the best thing to use here is an INI file. Delphi
provides read/write functions with the TIniFile object so you don't have
to mess about with binary file operations.

You might want to throw in a simple xor encryption and name it
somthing that is not obvious if you dont want the user to be editing
their score.
