Bde

I am a software developer on Delphi and I mainly develop Data Bases so I
have to use BDE with my programs and I have a problem with it.
When I install it on Win95 it works no problem but on some computers that
run Win98 after I install BDE and run either the BDE administrator or any
program that uses BDE it simply hangs.
I tried to install BDE 4, 4.5 , and upgrade 5.01.
Please help me solving this problem.

I have seen this on computers where the display driver was set to 16
colours.
Try swithcing to 256 colours or more.
