Access 2000 .mdb tables

Does the current BDE (5.01) support access to Access 2000 .mdb files?

I get an error message - unknown file format - when I try to create an alias
with the database manager. No problem with Access 97.

Or am I just doing something wrong?

Apparently you have to buy the Delphi 5 add-on product "ADO Express" from
Inprise.
