Have you tried putting a backslash in front of it ?

Circulation: World

'%' can wild card any number of characters whereas '_'  wild cards only
one character in SQL conditional search.

Examples of conditional search are :
where capital = 'Mexico City ----------- for exact match
where capital like 'M%' ---------------- for wild card
where capital like '%co%' --------------    -"-

Since I just started using local SQL, I programmed a utility to test
validity of SQL commands at local environment on a semi interactive base.
I put in SQL command into a memo component, then press a button
to change query.SQL to the content of memo.Lines. Afterword, the query is
openedby the program. It is quite handy to learn SQL by oneself.
