DevExpress Verticalgrid : ownerdraw items in lookupcombo

Hi,
I use a lookupcombo in a verticalgrid; the dropdown parts shows multiple
columns.
This works fine; however I want the cells of one column to be ownerdraw so I
can draw the contents myself. Can this be done and how?
