How can I change the default audio device?

Hi all,
i have two soundcards installed, and i want to change the primary (default)
audio device. I found no approaches!
Has anyone an idea or knows a suitable component!

The primary audio device should only be changed by the user (Windows

control panel). Your software of course can use another device than the
primary one (well, depends on what you do, I don't think you can use
functions like PlaySound with another device).
