Nice one, Nick. Is Jason a kiwi or a pom?
Kiwis tend to amuse themselves by offering Marmite to American friends.
We'll watch silently as they spread it on thickly as if it were a chocolate
spread, and then laugh as they{*word*142}on the first bitter mouthful :-o
That's what passes for entertainment downunder when you don't have a
Disneyland ;-)

My wife (a Kiwi) travelled to Auckland for work, and stayed in a hotel
there. She ordered Marmite on toast and they said they couldn't serve it
because only Australians stayed there and they only asked for Vegemite.
Nice one. That must make it one-all. I guess the Rugby World Cup
semi-final will need to be the tie breaker ;-)
Though it sounds like you have a foot in both camps anyway...

I had some Marmite at Jason Vokes house this weekend. I had no idea
what to expect. And I loved it -- I bought a big jar to bring home.
Bah.. Vegemite is far superior to Marmite.

Uh yeah, if you like the smell of old socks ;-)

Not really, we both follow AFL not rugby. And cricket is a marriage
breaking conversation, so I say nothing.

remember where it was. My best guess was a

Indeed. Vegemite first, daylight second.

Ah yes, cricket. That is why international marriages never work ;-)
Oh you are from Victoria? AFL is a sport i never enjoyed until i saw it "in
the flesh" (I probably should clarify that I don't mean that literally.
Really, what is with those pants?). Alas, you just can not capture its
e{*word*277}ment on the box.

Tasmania, but agreed. To see everything happening on the field at the same
time is just so different from watching it on the box. A lot like
basketball.
