"Oldies"Question?

Ok so you've been around here for a while.  How many times have
you had to answer the same old VCL question's?  Like how can I get VCL
source code?
My question is why haven't one of you Delphi Guru's written a
program to translate the VCL component to pascal?  To tough for you?
Would it be a violation of copyright?  I don't think so.  If it's beyond
your capabilities then maybe you can just join the whiner's section, the
ones that don't seem to have enough programming idea's to justify the
cost of an upgrade.  I personally think that Borland, (ARE YOU LISTENING)
should have provided a conversion program like this, that would be less
hassle.  How many VCL listing's does one need at any one time?
I've only had my Delphi for 4 month's, (and no I haven't received
a single piece of documentation from Borland to date), and while I would
like to be able to spend all day learning and programming with it, I have
to eat too.  But I have every confidence that I will be marketing a new
software program within the next few month's, and when that has provided
the fund's, I will get my new Delphi.  By then it will likely have
dropped in price and I can get, (with reluctance), Win95.
I just want to add that the assistance I've seen given here, by a
portion of those posting, has been very good, and I hope that those who
don't like "Newbie" question's, will go to comp.lang.pascal.delphi.guru

Not that I'd qualify as a guru, but huh? You'd like someone to
translate the VCL from Pascal to Pascal? Doesn't sound too tough, actually.

(Or are you talking about a decompiler, and if so would you like to
have one that you could use on everybody's exes or would components be enough?)

Don't you guys find it tedious typing the same thing
after your signature each time you post something?
I know I do, but when in Rome...

Sorry, hadn't considered that aspect of it, as far as the
decompiler is concerned, guess it was just hopefull thinking:)  I guess
I'll stick to the VCL Reference until I can afford the source code, (us
poor student's don't have much for option's).

But, since I have a couple of other item's in mind, I thought I'd take
this opportunity, (and save yet another post), to ask another question.

1)      Has anyone out there heard of CA Realizer, and if so have you
considered making a component or program that convert's spreadsheet data
to pascal code?  Or does anyone know of such a beast that could do this?
I'm working on a program that uses several hundred math formula's and
I've tested them in lotus 123, now rather than convert them all manually,
I was looking to see if this could be automated?  (I noticed the math
part of your email address David, so I thought this might be a reasonable
place to stick this question.)

2)      For those who cann't justify the upgrade to Delphi 2.0 but would
like to get their feet wet in win95/NT, check out http://www.envelop.com/
This may be right up your alley, if you know some "Basic", and would like
a "RAD" environment where they give you the the tool's but sell you the
component's?  To each his, (or her), own:)

Thank's again all for tolerating my newbie question's, and I hope that 1
or 2 of my comment's has stimulated a few brain cell's.  If not in you
then in me:)  And thank's again for all the help I've received.
