24 bit colour in 16 bit MSDOS?

Is it possible to get 24 bit colour, that is 256 levels of colour at
each gun, with a 16 bit application compiled in BC 5.02?

Hi,
I have not tested it yet, but at least for TC 3 (and so I believe, for
the rest of the BC/TC family) you can use a BGI driver, tcvga.bgi
(true color vga) to do 24 bit color in 16bit DOS.

I cant recall right now, but I found those drives searching with
Google, so I thing you can do the same.
