DATETIME error working with Delphi 3 / SQL Server 6.5

Here is my problem:
i need to access a SQL Server table by Delphi's BDE administrator,
especialy a
DATETIME column.
If i insert a record with '02/02/98', the SQL code generated and sent to
the server is
" insert into .... values ('02/fvr./98')..." (in french...).
Then the server responds "Convert error from string to datetime".

Does anybody have the solution?

This response was writed by Mrcio Pontes (hello, boy! How are you?):

I think I had the same problem (in Brazil). Try disabling the "Use
international settings" option in the SQL Client Configuration Utility.
When
it is enabled, BDE (or DB-Library) sends month names with Brazilian
Portuguese spelling (in my case). My SQL Server does not understand that
(because it is an english version).

I know your SQL Server is in French, but perhaps it expects a different
spelling that is being sent by the BDE. Hope this helps.
